Unit 10 Blog

I would strongly suggest to anyone taking this class, make sure you do research early and use the Writing Center. The Writing Center really helped me alot. I enjoyed doing the research because I learned alot about Fibromyalgia that I did not know. I am glad the final paper is over and the stress is relieved. I just have to wait for the grade and all stress will be gone.

Unit 9 Blog

I am hoping that my paper will be good enough to get me a good grade. I have spent alot of time on this paper and I am glad that it is almost over. I have enjoyed writing this paper. I learned alot about Fibromyalgia that I did not know. I have this disease and I feel that I learned alot that can help me with this disease. I want to wish everyone good luck on their papers and wish everyone luck in their future classes.

Unit 8 Blog

I have really enjoyed the blogs in this class. It is really interesting to get to know everyone in class better and really understand that we all pretty much have the same feelings. This has been a hard class but we are almost finished with it. I look forward to finishing the final project so I can finally take a stress-free break without worrying about my project. Thanks to everyone who has posted to my blog. I plan to continue my blog even after this class is over because I enjoy reading about everyone's week.

Unit 7 Blog

I have never done peer reviews before so this is a new experience for me. I help that I do them correctly and don't make anyone mad or feel bad about my comments. I look forward to getting peer reviews on my paper because I feel that it will help me to write a better paper and to know what I need to add or change. I hope that the peer reviews are helpful for everyone and that the final project will be easier because of them.

Unit 6 Blog

This week has been very hard. I have worked alot on writing the outline and finishing up my final draft. I finally got a good thesis statement after rewriting it several times and getting help from the professor. This paper may be easier than I first thought. I just want to get the final paper over with. I have enjoyed doing the research for this paper because I have learned alot about Fibromyalgia that I did not know. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about 15 years ago and there was alot about this disease that I needed to learn. This research paper has taught about this disease and ways to help with the chronic pain.

Unit 5 Blog

I am not a very good writer and I am having a hard time with this final project. I took Composition 1 last term but I just had to write an informative paper with just research. I am having a hard time figuring out how to write an argumentative paper. This weeks discussion is veryhard for me as well because I am not quite sure what to do. I think everyone is having this problem because no one has posted yet. I have alot of good research but I am not sure how to make a good argument about it. I will figure this out and hopefully come up with a good paper.

Unit 4 Blog

I know that plagiarism can be a big problem in colleges and other schools as well. In another class I had there was a student that would copy other peoples work on the discussion board and I was very upset about that. Making sure that you give authors credit is very important. The authors spend alot of time writing their work and I am sure that they would not want anyone to take credit for it. I know when I write a paper, I don't want anyone copying me because it is my hard work in it.

Unit 3 Blog

I really like being an online student. This gives me a chance to be at home with my children and take classes at the same time. I like not having to go out to class and being able to do my work any time I want within the week. I had never done any online classes until I started at Kaplan. I am in my third term now and I really enjoy it. I also like the privacy of online classes. I don't seem to do as well in a classroom setting. I feel that during the seminars and on the discussion boards you learn alot about your classmates.
