I know that plagiarism can be a big problem in colleges and other schools as well. In another class I had there was a student that would copy other peoples work on the discussion board and I was very upset about that. Making sure that you give authors credit is very important. The authors spend alot of time writing their work and I am sure that they would not want anyone to take credit for it. I know when I write a paper, I don't want anyone copying me because it is my hard work in it.
I agree with you on that. How did they get away with doing that when it shows what day the person posted their initial post? I had a group project last term and 1 of the team members felt that she didnt have to help with the project. I told the professor but it got turned around on me and the other team member. We were told that we was not including her and we need to call her to remind her that we were meeting on Sundays. I thought everyone at Kaplan was adults nobody told me that I had to babysit anyone.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both of you. I am wondering the same.. how did some one get away with copy and pasting on discussion boards?.. Rosetta.. i agree with you about babysitting grown people, you would think that at the college level it would be different some people will never change!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on that issue. It's not cool. People really need to just suck it up and do their own work. If they feel the need to copy another classmate's work, then they shouldn't be in school. It's not fair. Seriously, we're in college busting our behinds off, you would think that they would be mature enough, and want to succeed with out copying, or not being a team player. Some people need to grow up. I am with all three of you on this content. Karma will get them in the end!
